April 27 @ 7:00 pm - Carmela Martinez will briefly introduce the Bouchard Creek Foundation (Fondation Ruisseau Bouchard). This will be followed by our featured speaker, Katherine Collin of Vanier College, who will present How to protect urban birds in our gardens. In English with bilingual question period.

Early May - Digging, potting and preparing for the Plant Sale. Please consider planting vegetable and herb seeds as there is a demand for these young plants.

May 2 @ 9:30 am – noon - Forest bathing/Shinrin-yoku with Jacky Farrell, trained Shinrin-yoku guide, in the Morgan Arboretum. Experience the benefits of spending time in the forest in springtime. This is more than just a meander through the woods. You will engage in activities that awaken your senses and relieve your stresses. Jacky Farrell, bilingual conductor of forest walks for 20 years, member of the Association des Guides Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) since 2023, loves sharing nature with others and helping to re-discover the connections all around us. May 16 @ 9:00 am - Plant Sale. SDCC Salon B.

May 25 @ 5:30 pm - May Dinner at Scores in Dorval. Menu consists of salad bar, soup, main course (7 choices), dessert and coffee/tea. Fee to members is $40 (including taxes and tips).

May 26 @ 7:00 pm - Bouchard Creek Foundation presentation at College Sainte-Anne, Dorval in the Atrium. The findings of a water quality survey of the creek will be presented.

June 20 (Saturday) @ 7:30 am - Bus Trip to East Angus and Sherbrooke region. Price for members is $75, non-members $80.

Member Garden Visits, Tuesdays 6 pm – 8 pm: June 16, July 14, and August 11.

September 28 @ 7:00 pm - Presentation by Save the Fairview Forest.

Late September or early October - Guided walk with the President of Sauvons l’Anse-à-l’Orme (a very knowledgeable biologist). No fee for members.
