Welcome

Welcome to the Dorval Horticultural and Ecological Society

Providing Over 50 years of Civic Beautification for Our City!

All are welcome. Whether you are an experienced gardener or a brown-thumbed novice we welcome you to join us. You'll meet people like you who are at their best with trowel in hand or who are just gardeners at heart. Membership is open to anyone with a love for plants, indoor or outdoor. Green thumb not required!

Our mission

  • to promote the protection of the environment with appropriate horticultural practices.
  • to develop and improve the horticultural knowledge of club members, thereby improving the health and appearance of our environment.
  • to provide horticultural information, tips and materials.

Membership

Membership allows free access to our monthly meetings/seminars, participation in local garden tours, a perennial sale in May, competitions and horticultural workshops as well as one or more annual bus trips. All this for an annual family membership fee of only $10 for Dorval residents or $15 for non-residents.

Our monthly meetings

The Dorval Horticultural and Ecological Society meets on the fourth Monday of the month (September through May, except December) at 7:30 pm at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, 1335 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, Quebec.
